Giveaway: Shabby Apple Dress

You have no idea how excited I was when I saw an email in my inbox from none other than Shabby Apple asking if I wanted to host a giveaway!  In case you did not know, if you are looking for high-quality dresses at affordable prices, Shabby Apple is the place to go!  I’ve lingered on their site for a couple years and have heard nothing but great things about their clothing.

What I love most about Shabby Apple is their selection of vintage-inspired dresses.  I’m a huge lover of all things vintage, but have a hard time incorporating real vintage pieces into my wardrobe.  Shabby Apple does the work for you by designing modern dresses with a vintage flair that will have you looking timeless and fashionable any year.  They offer a wide variety of dress styles for all figures and sizes and also offer quite an array of colors and materials.  I dare you to stop by their website and not fall in love with their selection.  They set the website up with dresses of different themes, which makes it such a fun clothing company!  Here is just a sampling of some of my favorites:

-This winter we've taken a classic party dress shape to new heights with the Confidential dress. With a nipped waist and capped sleeves, our ivory stretch charmeuse silhouette is overlaid with delicate eyelash lace that falls below the knee, and tied off with a contrasting grosgrain ribbon at the waist. Simultaneously sophisticated and sassy, the Confidential will make any special occasion shine.GondolaNavy pleated dress with white piping and peakaboo pleats.

Now that I’ve concluded the love-fest portion of this post, let’s see what they are offering as a giveaway.  They asked me to choose one dress I think you all would love.  This was not easy because I personally love so many, but with a variety of ages, sizes, locations, and occupations of readers in mind, I went with the Bon Voyage dress:

Navy pleated skirt dress has a belt with bow, v-neck, and cap sleevesimage

Dress description:
Fun and flirty, the Bon Voyage dress is the perfect frock for an afternoon on the boardwalk or a night at the Ocean Club.  Sleek tailoring keeps this v-neck silhouette classic, while the bow at the waist and flouncy pleated skirt lend a playful air and plenty of personality to this navy poplin beauty.

I love the flirty skirt with the pleating and the cinched, belted waist to give any woman curves, even if she doesn’t have them (like me).  It’s modest but fun and completely versatile.  After reading the reviews, I know women have had success wearing it to all sorts of occasions and always receiving compliments.

  6. Found you last night. Love you! I'd say I entered for the Bon Voyage dress give-away. I am following you via email, Yahoo-feed (you have your own page), Facebook and Twitter. I "liked" Shabby Apple on FB. Visited their site and my fav dress is the Bonheur from the Oh-La-La collection because it is simple, fitted without being revealing and classically sexy. I'd pick the blue version, just because it is a day dress and the sun could make that white transparent!! I liked the Inca collection as well, especially the pencil skirts paired with tight white blouses, they seemed so resort, and again a retro-restained-sexy. I'm staring at my Turkish Fir tree covered in vintage Shiny Brite ornaments knowing it must come down, but my mind has already moved on to resort wear, blooming bulbs and spring, sigh.
